The SOL on credit cards in Florida is 4 years after the account has become delinquent. If you have any of your old records,(bills) the back of the bill will state when the account becomes past due.If it was 30 or 45 days, you are ok-if it is 60 days, they filed in time. Appear and claim exemption under the 4 year SOL and hope the collection company can't show otherwise.
