Right! They can take him to court but they can't get anything. Send them a letter detailing his source of income and they will probably go on to greener pastures. A judgment won't do them any good, and it will prevent your son from getting any more credit cards.

If they do try to take him to court anyway by all means show up as your son's representative, and tell the judge where his money comes from, so they can prevent freezing his bank account (the money in it comes from his SSI).

And write your congressman. Talk about predatory!!!
