I live in Illinois. I found your letters (linda's I think) under briefcase.yahoo.com and was going to send the one offering a settlement in exchange for changing the entry on my credit report. It seems to cover all the bases (not admitting validity, not promiseing anything) they have already validated the debt, and I really just want to get this over with, now that I have the money to pay. This is not exactly pocket change and I feel like they will never leave me alone and I dont know what else to do, I just want to pay it.......... even worse, I actually have a conscience, and feel I truly should pay the debt I owe (or at least part of it ....lol)
