If it's a legitimate debt and you decide to pay it off be sure to get a paid letter from Gulfstate. Remember, your credit is your responsibility. Be sure to send the paid receipts to all three credit bureaus and follow-up. Don't expect Gulfstate to do it for you.

If it isn't legitimate, sed them a dispute letter. Be sure to send it certified mail and get a return receipt with a signature on it. Also, send a copy to the credit bureaus.
