I don't know about filing BK. That should be your very last resort. Have you considered talking to a debt counselor. Basically, they can help get the interest rate, finance charges and late fees reduced. They'll be able to collect a monthly amount from you and pay the creditors off. It'll get paid off a lot sooner than making the small payment amounts, which are probably barely covering interest charges. Get on the internet and look up debt counselors. If nothing else they'll let you know what your options are. Good Luck.
