I think filing bankruptcy is terrible advise to give someone still in college barely starting out their lives. Do you realize what that means? My advise is to contact a debt counselor, they have relationships with these companies and they are able to get the interest rates dropped and sometimes eliminated. they'll work with you based on what you can afford. Face it, no matter what you do, the obligation isn't going to go away. So handle it so that the end result is positive for you. Not a life time mistake.
