I have spoken to five different bankruptcy attorneys over the last few months. All of them except one told me it was a simple case and would get a full discharge. The one that didn't said he wanted to review my credit card statements for the last six months (at an additional charge of $150.00) so that he could determine if there was anything that would suggest I used the cards in such a way as to incite objections to my petition from the creditors. I did not have him do it, yet.

Interestingly, one of the attorneys I spoke with is a Trustee for the local bankruptcy court. He seemed to have no problem with my case and he told me that as long as what I had told him was true-and it was-I would be fine. The best part is he's the cheapest lawyer I spoke to.

Taking the risk I did was a huge gamble and I lost. I wish others could learn from my misfortune. The company I spent all that money with was a pure scam out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. I contacted the Attorney General there and they told me they knew about the "company" and that they had scammed others. They said they couldn't help me since the "company" was long gone.

I checked with the Attorney General of Florida and the Better Business Bureau before spending the money with those scumbags and there were no complaints against them. I assume they were so new, at least under their present name, that there were not yet any victims to complain.

Please be extremely careful with your attempts at starting a business, especially with credit cards.
