Yes your wages can and probably will be garnished if they know where you work. If not don't reveal that and tell anyone who answers your phone not to either. However, they will call your neighbors too so that's another way to find out where you work. They can also seize your assets such as a car, real estate, insurance policies, etc. The only way to avoid this is to file for bankruptcy or pay what you owe. You can't fight a judgement. I'm in a similar position so I know what you're dealing with. If their attorney's made a payment arrangement with you why did they file a suit?
