It's a good idea, but it doesn't work as well as payment for deletion of the tradeline. Maily because the credit buearus often say they have verified information when they have not. Then you are stuck in a long battle with a credit bureau who insists they already verfied, and will not even accept your dispute. Having the creditor send a UDF requiring permanent deletion directly to the credit bureau is more efficient and easier for you. It just takes a little more negotiating.

However, I'm certainly not opposed to anything that might work ;) If you try it let us know how it works out.
