I agree. Even if they should get judgments against you, if you have nothing for them to take, it won't do them any good. You can bk the judgments later.

It amazes me how these companies shoot themselves in the foot this way. Most of these debts, if converted to an installment account, with no interest or fees added, would be feasible for people in trouble, but they refuse to even consider that alternative. Forget them. Don't talk to them, don't discuss it anymore, you have done what you could to reach an agreement. After 180 days (6 months) have passed, these accounts will be written off and sold to collection agencies and you can then use the FDCPA to hold them at bay.

Take care of yourself. You can deal with this stuff later when you are better.
