judgement issue

Aside from a judgement and student loans which are current, I have about $2000 unsecured debt, which I will be paying off this year, along with my final car payment in May. I want to buy a house in the next year, but am concerned about the judgement. If all my other debts are paid off, will the judgement hurt me greatly for a house? I am also trying to find ways to get this judgement vacated- they tacked a 10% daily interest to the total amount and I was never served. I also have been making payments but because of the interest the total balance is not going down.
