Bankruptcy For One

Sometimes people post here that they need to take bankruptcy,but have to wait. One reason might be a pending law suit from an accident,or other funds expected in the future (workman's comp settlements are exempt) If it is a married couple, one can file for bankruptcy,as long as he/she removes themselves as party to the suit. This works very well especially if the person who is waiting for the $$ is secondary on any joint accounts.and few accounts are singly in his/her name.
