Since you are way past the SOL in Ohio for judgements,my guess is that the account was sold to a "bottom feeder" who buys blocks of debts. They are required to validate the "chain of title" of their purchase. This should include a photocopy of the original application plus the documentation of the ensuing sales of the account. If those are not furnished,write back and request them and indicate you are sending copies of your correspondence to the FTC and the Ohio consumer protection office.
