Help! I had a cc with First Card that was charged off in 1997. They sold the account to Gulf State. I signed up for CCCS in 1998 and have made all payments on time.
CCCS was sending payments to First Card and First Card was forwarding to Gulf State. First Card has shown that my account was payed in full in May of 2001. Gulf State claims they did not receive all of those paymemts. First Card will not send me any documentation because the account was sold. I have been fighting with Gulf State about this for 7 months and noone will help me. CCCS is not doing much either. What should I do?
