I looked up the company "Platinum" and found a mortgage company and an atm servicing company in Ohio. Are you sure the collection company is in Ohio ? By the way, Ohio has no State credit laws or licensing requirements for credit collection companies,so eliminate a reference to "State Authorities" in your letter.You can look up the lawyer at the following link.They may not be able to furnish anything to validate their claim, they may just be a mortgage company buying lists to solicit 2nd mortgages through scare tactics.
