I do appreciate all of your help! I have another couple of questions about charge-offs. I would prefer not to file bk if cc companies(Chase and Discover) sue. What do I do if they(or collection companies)do...and prove that the debt is mine. I do not want them to garnish wages(Maine)...this is all too embarrassing. We do have a home(mortgage) and some land, but we have no savings. Any thoughts?
