Tax Lien

Linda, We are planning on buying a home this year. I've checked all 3 credit reports and the only negative
item on there are 2 small tax liens, one from 1995 and the other from 1996. Both paid and released in March of 1997. All other reported credit is great. Do you think it will be difficult for us to get a mortgage?
Also, how long do these liens stay on your record? Is it 7 years from when they were reported or released?
