I've been keeping a low profile for the past 5 years due to some charge offs in 1996. My SOL is 6 yrs. Now I would like to get some life insurance but after seeing all the questions on the application, I'm afraid my CR will be updated with my current employment (I used to be self employed) and I'll be vulnerable to judgement/garnishment. So should I just wait for the SOL to run before I come out from underground and apply for insurance then or are there other options?
