I too had the same problem with being an authorized user on 2 credit cards. To be removed and to clean my credit up, as he had defaulted big time,I had him (the primary card holder)call the 2 companies and request that I be removed as an authorized user on the cards. I then contacted the credit bureau about 30 days,later giving the credit card companies time to remove me, and requested an investigation to be launched as these 2 credit cards were not mine. About 30 days later I received a copy of my credit report and they both had been removed. Simple as that!!
