If an acount has a zero balance that has just occured and my husband's name is on it, will my bankruptcy still affect that account and him? I'm just wondering if I put the remainder of the debt in my husbands name only if I could file and have him be unaffected. I'm so depressed right now. I can't beleive I got myself into this mess!! If only I could turn back time! So when you say to default on the cards, is that with the intention of bankruptcy or settlement or taking a break? Bankruptcy seems so extreme. I think I'm still in denial! Thanks for your advice.
