First I read before you respond... and incase you still don’t understand I will clarify...
If you have given them the information, or if they obtain the information and do actually debit you account without you authorization, then they would be liable for the fine. The information needed to debit your account is provided on every check you write.. This means when you send in a check to pay on the account, they can get your information.... I was not referring to garnishment. As for my employer, while I do collections, I am a respectable person. I have been doing collections for years, and have never had a complaint filed against me. Please avoid using the stereotype you have in mind and allow each person to prove his or her own.
