Right! If the clerk of court says there is no suit against you, tne the "summons" was a scare tactic, not a real summons. We had another poster on here last month who seemed to have had the same trick pulled on her.

And honestly, if you had not been paying on this debt, you would be "home free" now. No one could have sued you and won. But that is water under the bridge - find out if the summons is legit or not.
