Always, always, always have debt validated by written request sent by you - certified mail, return receipt - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! Here's a phone # 877-675-3058 (call from a pay phone) that way they cannot log your number - preferably in another town. Better yet - DO NOT CONTACT THEM BY PHONE. Writing is best.
