Did they ever validate this? If I recall, they did not. If I am correct, it is lawsuit time. Small claims - a few bucks, fill-in-the-blanks forms, get it deleted forever and get your $1,000 + court costs for your trouble. If Equifax did not notify you that they were putting this back on, you can sue them also.

Gulf State is the worst!
