I am in agreement that the marketing of credit cards to children is pretty lousy,however, so is the marketing of consumer goods to them. You can't, in my opinion, stop one without the other. Drug addiction has not been stopped by makng it illegal,neither will overspending on the latest clothes or music or gadgets be slowed by curbing credit cards for kids.
