Cindy, I'm happy I could be of help to you. We're both in dire straits but don't let it get you down. You and I will get through this and life will get better.

As far as your cash advances go that is definitely a red flag. If you can't manage to repay all that you took out the only other solution I know of is to wait at least 90 days if you are going to file bankruptcy. That is the time period needed to pass before you can file without being charged with fraud. Mind you, it's no guarantee you might still be charged with fraud.

As long as you are in no imminent danger from your creditors I would wait it out longer. Legal Aid said you are presently unexecutable so unless you acquire non-exempt assets you are in no danger. You'll have to put up with the nasty phone calls but this will buy you time so that you can probably file bankruptcy in four months or so and have your debts discharged.

Please remember I am not an attorney but I have talked to quite a few recently so this information comes from attorneys.

You might want to call around and try to speak to some bankruptcy attorneys. When you call tell the receptionist that you have a disability (since you said you did) and ask if you can talk to the attorney on the phone because it's difficult for you to come to them. Most bankruptcy attorneys offer the initial consultation for free.

I spoke to the two I mentioned before by phone because I live too far to go in person. They were both very helpful. You can probably find one or two in your area. It'll do you a world of good. Keep your chin up and I will try to do the same.
