I have kept records of financial stuff for as far back as 7 years, and in a couple of cases it has saved my behind.

I know of others with similar stories. The way information is now being stored and sold, anything can come up any time. I have a garage full of boxes of files from previous years. I don't care. I will not get caught short again ever. I can document anything I've done back to before they were using PC's hahahaha!! It might take me a while to find it, but it's there.
