I believe MBNA is a little tougher on derogs than Citibank. If you don't have a lot of inquiries, try the Citibank American Airlines Silver or Gold card. It is hard to find on their site, but it is not too hard to get.

go here, but then click on the link to the AAdvantage card in the menu on the left. You don't want the World card, it has a high annual fee.
