Do not call them. If they gave you an address, send them a registered letter, return receipt, stating you require validation of their claim and requesting no further contact unless it is proof of the claim and their right to collect.Where were you when the originating debt was made,defaulted on, and where are you now ? (State) Each State has a different length of time after default that you can be sued. SOL= statute of limitations.
