They just broke about half the laws in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Stop talking to them. They are not lawyers. They are lying. Don't listen to them. Your fear is their only weapon.

Go to the "credit laws" link on the left and read about the collection laws. You will be surprised at your rights. Stand up for yourself. Do what WC and anonymous are saying.
