I have to say that the person saying to contact the three credit report componies does not help. I am recently divorce and my ex wrote MANY bad checks, I am not even sure what the Gulf State ones are, however, One credit agency wrote back saying that basically it (the court orders) does not mean anything, that I have to contact every collector and ask them to take it off. It is the lender who decides if they want to or not. Anyways, I was just on here looking for an address to send a letter asking Gulf State to take off whatever this is on my credit.
