The accounts that were discharged in BK will come off in 2004-as will the reaffirmed accounts that defaulted come off in 2005-just the plain notation of your BK will stay on for another 3 years until 2007.There isn't much you can do to hlp your credit in the meanwhile, except keep your $$,don't pay any of this old stuff,just put the $$ you would have paid in a safe money market account or cd,where you aren't tempted to touch it.Meantime,open up some small accounts that are reported to CRA's,pay promptly on ALL current bills,and in a few years you will have excellent credit and $$ in the bank.
