How old are you girlfriend? That was a really really dumb thing to do. There is no way you can get away with something like that. Those bank auditors can find anything given time. If you're going to be dishonest, you had better get good at it! And if you really want to feel bad, B of A was one of the hardest hit by 9/11 - their main bank was at the WTC. They lost a lot of their people, and they lost 11 million in cash that day - I think they are finding it now at the bottom of the ruins. That's about the time they made the error in your account. You can dispute entries on chexsystems, but it is really way too soon. I'm afraid they're going to make you pay for this silliness for a while. Your best bet is to learn from your experience. Linda
