Linda,

I have drafted a letter to the two Credit reporting agencies (TU & Equifax) using the format available at http://briefcase.yahoo.com/serenitybreeze.

The original creditor Con Ed was in New York. I live in New Jersey now. I paid them in their office before I moved. They told me yesterday they didn't have record of it and they didn't have a forwarding address. I was never contacted by the Collection Agency or Con Ed via mail.

Inovision is based in Virginia and its subsidiary that put tradeline in Equifax is based in new York.

Should I file complaint with the Attorney general of New York & Virgina, as the collection agencies are based there and the utility is in New York. I am going to file a complaint with the FTC as well. Thanks.
