I agree about going to management, but I think you should pay the check. Wait til you go try to open an account at some other bank. You are now on Telecheck as a wirter of bad checks. Any store that uses them will refuse to accept your check. Many banks use them as a reporting service, just like chex systems. Pay it and go complain. The salon got their money anyway - Telecheck paid it. They guarantee the checks they approve, so they pay them. You now owe them.
