Yes, I have to agree, using this method to fix bad credit is risky for the person with good credit. However, for parents helping their children get started, or in my case, my Mom, who had not used any credit since my Dad died in the early 80's, it is helpful. Once my Mom got her own prime cards and some payment history, I removed her as AU from my accounts. Linda
