Lawyer's fees vary - that is something you'd have to check out yourself. However, most will provide you an initial consultation free of charge. You should look for an attorney who handles debtor/creditor negotiations (someone very experienced in this field). There's NO GUARANTEE that your credit will be fixed. And if you have already begun receiving letters from collection agencies - their practice is to keep re-selling this debt over & over to different collection agencies. There are not very many other options at all!!!!!!
