They changed last payment date

Ive noticed my last payment has been changed on my credit report. Is this normal? Does this happen much? What can I do? One company said my last payment was last year. I haven't made a payment on that account in 2 years. What are my options? If any. They've extended the time for it to stay on my credit report.. HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
