They can't do squat. DO NOT talk to collector on the phone - they will try to get you to say anything. After 7 yrs + 180 days they cannot legally report this to Credit Reporting Agencies. And I'm sure this debt is well beyond any statute of limitations. Only correspond in writing with a demand to CEASE & DESIST contacting you (send by certified mail, return receipt). 2ndly - they cannot re-age old accounts though some do to try to collect illegally.
