Credit Card and Checking at Chase

I have both a credit card account and a checking account at Chase. My Chase credit card account is in collections. Can Chase debit my checking account since it is at the same bank? I do not have the ability to pay the credit card bill and anticipate a charge off. i do have money in my checking account but it is for rent and utilities. thank you.
