Can I do this?

I just got a collection notice from Gulf State. It's for less than $2000 and I've gotten married since I defaulted on it. The notice was sent with my previous last name. When I get the next notice from them, can I just write, "not at this address" on the envelope and get it sent back to them? And can this be done without affecting mail that does come addressed in my married last name? Would this be illegal to do? The only address on the letter is a PO Box and I've heard that Gulf State won't sign for certified mail anyway, so no point in sending a C&D letter?

I'm in Ohio and the account was defaulted on about 4 years ago. From what I understand credit cards are considered written contracts in Ohio and SOL is then 15 years. I have no income at the moment and Ohio is not a community property state, so I don't really think they can do much of anything, other than threaten.

Thanks
