You probably should contact the bankruptcy trustee about this. If this student loan was indeed discharged in bankruptcy this CA cannot contact you legally. You could probably file suit against them for violating federal regulations. It's rare that student loans are discharged in bankruptcy - not anymore unless you are on your deathbed or permanently disabled. Thank our legislators for that.
