The "re-aging" of an account in my experience means a creditor has changed the information to extend the time of the account to stay within the SOL for a lawsuit and/or stay on the debtor's credit report longer.

I have never heard of an old "bad" account being re-born as a newer "good" account,I don't believe it would be legal under TILA. You want the account purged,or reported paid in full with no "bad" comments. There are several methods of doing that. Check the link below for what you want.
