I had a judgement against me prior to being married. My wife and I opened a bank account after we got married and after having this account for some time, we learned all of our money, approximately $950 was taken out of "OUR" bank account. Now this was all of my wife's money since I was unemployed at that time. It appeared that the lawyers' office handling the judgement realized that it was not only my account but my wife's accout as well because they sent her a letter "after the fact" informing her of the actions they were taking on the account. Now since she had nothing to do with the judegement, does my wife have any recourse for these actions against her? Thank you for your response. I live in California and the judgement orginated because of a volunatry repossesion.
