: The easiest way out is to set up payments. Pay them $10/ month. As long as your paying "something" they'll stop calling. : : : I understand that the FDCRA protects against harrassing second and third party collection agency callers that are calling on behalf of the creditor. But what if the creditor is a major credit card company and has collection callers in house under the same company name? Is there anything that can be done to stop the calls? : : In addition, I had a previous number at my parents' house that was listed as the contact number. Since then, I have changed my number with all of my creditors. However, they keep calling and harrassing my parents. Both my parents and I have told them to stop calling, but they have not. What can I do about this "indirect" phone harrassment? : : Any information would be appreciated, especially with a copy to mthalbe@hotmail.com. Thanks.
