Gulfstate/OSI Accumulating Interest

Gulfstate/OSI has been adding interest to a CLOSED account. They also are reporting twice and requiring *ME* to pay all of this interest. What are my rights, and the law to where I do NOT have to pay this interest and how do I get this off my report from reporting twice?
