They are still a CA despite what this moron tells you. Sounds like they are pond scum to me. Tell your wife not to have anymore conversations with them. And have her DEMAND validation via a letter sent by certified mail, return receipt - NO EXCEPTIONS. This CA is not telling you the truth - furthermore the threats he's made are illegal. You need to keep a chronology of phone calls (get this guys name)starting now. DO NOT MAKE ANY AGREEMENTS with them. BTW, they have abide by federal regulations - but they're hoping you aren't smart enough to know that. If they call again - hang up - or tell them you are recording the conversation.
