The FDCPA reqyuires that Venue (the place where law suits are filed) and Jurisdiction (the State whose laws apply) be in either the State where the application was signed, or the State where you live now. The TILA (Truth In Lending Act) defines credit card accounts and "line of credit" accounts as "open accounts".We have a TROLL poster, who is banned from posting here and many other groups who will post misinformation and use other peoples name. He is just interested in disruption,not in help. If you go back in the Posts you will find the legal references for the above CORRECT information.
