My wife got a call today at work concerning a credit card which she has been unable to pay. The message went like this: I am so and so from a law firm(I presume) please call me concerning a case seeking litigation against you in a personal liability case. What should she do? She was laid off several months ago and just found work-So she was unable to pay this CC which amounts to $6000. Should she file BK? We live in NC and do not own anything. Her job now is only part-time. Thanks for all of your help. I love the board!
