Old bad checks

Hi,

So here's a thorny question. Do the SOL laws apply to bad checks that were written about six years ago? Some were bounced checks and some were checks written on a closed account. I was young and stupid and depressed and I am trying to come clean. I know this is all very bad and I am trying to fix my mistakes.

I also want to know if the FCRA 7 year limit applies to bounced/bad checks. To date, I haven't been contacted by anybody (CA's) and they appear on my credit reports as returned checks. Most are 6 years old.

Also, does anyone know how to contact ChexSystems? I want to get a credit report from them too so I can start working on paying off those bad checks.

Thanks so much for any advice, related links or letters you can give me!
